COUNTRY MANAGER NEEDED BY A HUGE TRAVELING COMPANY IN NIGERIA

Universal Careers has been mandated by one of its clients in the travel industry to recruit Candidates for the position below:

JOB TITLE – COUNTRY MANAGER

Purpose of Role
The purpose of the role is to be a change agent in the Nigerian office. We require our Organisation in Nigeria to be recognised as the eCommerce company in Nigeria and the leading OTA in the market. We need the right talent on board and ensure our Customers are always returning due to experiencing great customer service. You will work closely with home base and other country offices and Country Managers.

KEY DELIVERABLES
  • 6 – 7 months period with effect from valid visa; no less than 2 week handover in the Cape Town office before going to Nigeria;
  • Driving Talent acquisition of key local employees;
  • Ensuring that all sales target are met – to be confirmed with CFO;
  • Ensuring the profitability of all bookings;
  • Responsible for MTN Nigeria relationship;
  • Driving and leading the Nigeria Marketing (offline & online);
  • Build the partnership relationship;
  • Ensure the successful launch of the mobile app;
  • Ensure financial and operational excellence
  • Collaboration with Home Base and other country offices and Country Managers

EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience working in a travel company with at least 5 years in a similar position
